The St. Michael Cantatas

Our most recent production, never released before, is the recording of the official concert "for the Feast of Saint Michael" which took place in Autumn 2007 in the abbey church of Mont-Saint-Michel.

The recording features a baroque orchestra and four leading singers, and comprises three sacred masterpieces by J.S. Bach: the St. Michael Cantatas. That was an hymn to the Archangel whose statue towers over the abbey church, and it was the first time these works had been performed at Mont-Saint-Michel.
